Steve Capelli is chairman of the board of mLogica, LLC. He previously served as chief revenue officer of Blackberry. While at Blackberry, Steve also served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer, reporting to the chairman and CEO. In addition to these roles, Steve provides counsel on mergers and acquisition activities, strategic direction and corporate culture.
Steve also serves as chairman of the board of Bradmark Technologies, Inc., a software company specializing in database performance management. In addition, he serves on the public company board of Rimini Street, which provides third party support for Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards and other applications. Steve has also served on the private company boards of Enmetric Systems, LiveOps and ParStream, which was subsequently acquired by Cisco.
Steve brings more than thirty years’ experience leading and advising high tech companies on implementing operational improvements and strategic investing aimed at driving revenue growth, margin enhancement and acquisitions.
Steve was previously president of Worldwide Field Operations at Sybase, with responsibility for more than $1 billion in annual revenue. He led the turnaround and expansion of global teams focused on sales, consulting, customer support and education. Before joining Sybase, he spent five years at Siemens-Pyramid, where he held a variety of positions, including CFO, vice president of inter-continental, sales and director of field operations. He has also worked in finance and operations at Digital Equipment Corp., Unisys and W.R. Grace & Company.
